Discovered a new thing! (Although many of you might be doing this already) When I first rinse my Vitamix jar, I water my house plants or outdoor herbs with this rich wash. Then I rinse again using soap and discard this water. My plants seem to love this.:D

Pat, that is great. In St.Thomas, having a cistern you learn to re use any and all water. I would be bucketing out the kids bath water on bucket at a time...and the plants really do love it! :D Need to get back into the habit now that I am a little spoiled again since moving back to the States.

I live in the Antelope Valley (high desert where the shuttle lands when Florida is socked in). We are suffering from one of the worst droughts in history. On top of that, the Central Valley of California has had the water turned of because environmentalist are worried about a small smelt. Farms have dried up, groves of fruit trees dead and farmers out of work. This is the food basket for much of the country. Very sad!
