This is an interview I did with an awesome woman named Julie who reversed her debilitating MS in months, naturally. Her site is at www.msreversed.com. Thought I'd post it here...
--------------------------
According to Wikipedia, an online encyclopedia, as well as the western medical model, Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic inflammatory disease that affects the central nervous system. MS can cause a variety of symptoms, including changes in sensation, visual problems, muscle weakness, depression, difficulties with coordination and speech, severe fatigue, bodily pain and more. MS can cause impaired mobility and disability in more severe cases. The predominant theory today is that MS results from attacks by an individual's immune system on the nervous system and it is therefore usually categorized as a debilitating autoimmune disease. MS sufferers are often diagnoses by their symptoms and the presence of lesions on cat scans. Although much is known about how MS causes damage, its exact cause remains unknown.
I bolded the last sentence because I find it unacceptable. All too often we read this about diseases, and it is simply untrue. Diverticulosis. Cancer. HIV. Etcetera. Or rather, it may be true, but only because they are not looking. Some might say that the powers that be don't look in the right places on purpose, and I became one of those people after the research I've done on disease. Thank God for brave trailblazers like Dr. Ann Wigmore, who was successful in coaching people all over the world in reversing Cancer, Diabetes, AIDS and more by simply detoxing the body. Or J.H. Tilden, who in his book Toxemia Explained documents how he cured pneumonia in 100% of his patients during it's deadly reign in the 1920's by way of colonics and living foods.
In recent months I have had the honor of corresponding with another extraordinary trailblazer, Julie Petty-Nash, a courageous, outspoken women who was diagnosed with rapidly-progressing MS. Told she would soon be wheelchair bound, she decided to take action herself and unconventionally pursued a natural means to reversing this SUPPOSEDLY "irreversible" disease. Today she is MS-free and a true ambassador of natural health and healing. The School Of RAWk had the opportunity to interview Julie about her journey. . . .
Julie, being diagnosed with MS must have been terrifying. It's one thing to feel awful and fatigued, but I can only imagine what it would be like to view your own brain lesions on a cat scan and to hear you're going to be restricted to a wheelchair. Why wouldn't you have listened to your doctor?
Yes, Erica, it was a very terrifying experience, to say the least. In viewing the MRI's, that was numbing in itself. Basically, I did listen to my doctor; he told me that if I didn't get this disease under control really quick, because it was progressing very rapidly, that I would be in a wheelchair within months! He then instructed me to go home and research all the MS modifiers and to pick one that I thought would best suit me. This blew my mind. I mean, are you kidding me?!?! Isn't that the doctor's job? So, I did do just that, I researched MS from all different angles. The first problem I had with conventional drugs for MS is that they are given via needle. Huge problem already! I don't do needles! I am petrified of them. I am not a fan of pain. I remember the last shot I ever received and I couldn't sit for a couple of days, comfortably. No thanks!!! The second, third, forth up through the nine hundred thousand and ninety-ninth problem? The adverse reactions one can and most undoubtedly will experience using these drugs to "slow the progression of MS".
I'm sure you went home and read every book and article you could find on conventional MS after your diagnosis. So how on Earth would you come to the conclusion that you could defeat this incurable disease?
I didn't want to slow it, I wanted it out of my body. Yes, I read everything I could find. But also, my personal research on MS quickly led me to the subject of the underlying causes of MS. I quickly learned about the toxins (disguised as FOOD) that I was unknowingly ingesting on a daily basis, and how they affect the body. And I believe, amount other things mentioned later, that the mercury that was in the vaccines that was given to me in childhood helped along this "disease" that I was now being diagnosed with. In this small amount of research already I decided that no one else was going to make this go away. I had to do this myself. After praying hard about this, I turned to my mom for help. She gave me a doctor's name and number. I found that this natural doctor was going to guide me and work with me to reverse this naturally.
You did see a Natural Practitioner. How was your experience with a natural doctor different than with a medical, and what was the difference between this doctor's explanation of your symptoms and your initial doctor's?
I never knew testing like this existed! NO NEEDLES! It was a special kind of muscle testing called QRA, Quantum Reflex Analysis. My neurologist's explanation was that "I had an incurable disease which could be controlled with drugs via needles." But after almost 4 hours of testing with a natural practitioner, my body told this doctor what all was wrong with me through this non-invasive testing. His conclusion to me was that I had a lot of childhood scars that needed to be cleared, I had liver flukes (parasites), toxic dental work, viral infections and a c-section scar that needed to be cleared as well. He said I was not in that bad of shape compared to others he had seen, but still, I needed work.
This doctor recommended "nutraceuticals" instead of pharmaceuticals. They were 100% live source super foods. I put an order in right away for all of his supplement recommendations. The products showed up and I started reversing this "MS" on day one. I could almost immediately feel the changes going on. So from that day on up until 8 months later, I fought this "disease" heart and soul. I had to do this not only for me, but for my daughter as well. With God's help, this great natural doctor, and my stubbornness, I was going to beat this. My daughter was counting on me to do this.
Very interesting! Can you offer a layman's explanation of Quantum Reflex Analysis? Also, can you offer us your understanding of how emotional scars can affect physical health and how you cleared those scars?
QRA is a revolutionary kinesiological technology and is used for assessment of key imbalances or rather, an amplified muscle test. Emotional scars are detrimental to healing regardless of the health problem. I cleared my emotional scars with a BRT (BioField Repolariztion Technique) vial and ERT, a emotional repolarization technique. I repeated this technique 3 times a day for 2 months. ERT is a very powerful healing of the mind. With emotional scarring, you will have scarring of the body, inside and out, as your immune system will breakdown and render itself almost useless over time.
What dietary changes did you make?
When I first started using my doctor's products. I took stabilized DHLA with Resveratrol, this will quench every known free radical. Next I used Super Nano Green Tea, Brain Complex, Nerve Complex and a few other products (all mentioned on my website). For the first 3 months of this trek I ate only raw foods. That meant no more of all my favorite foods: pizza, lasagna, everything Italian . . . no more Chinese food, no more canned foods, no more food, it felt like! There was no more pop (soda for those readers of yours on the east coast). No more condensed soups like my favorite, Campbell's chicken noodle soup. All canned soups have msg, which is a known excitotoxin, or nerve poison; it kills brain cells on contact. Ingredients will say 'monosodium glutamate' aka "natural flavors" or "spices" or "spice." This means excitotoxin-city! No more aspartame, a known excitotoxin, as well (and also has many phoney names). No more hydrogenated foods, no more magnesium stearate, no more sodium benzoate. If I can't pronounce it, it's not going in our bodies. I eat primarily raw food now. I supplement big time with my doctor's products which my doctor manufactures himself, as I am GUARANTEED purity without pesticides. Basically, if it isn't 100% organic, I am not eating it (nor is my daughter).
You mentioned excitotoxins, which didn't surprise me. I've watched the eye-opening documentary Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World, in which the relationship between the ingestion of Excitoxins (i.e. aspartame, msg) and neurological diseases like MS is clearly outlined. Do you feel this is the underlying cause in a lot of MS cases?
YES! There are large numbers of reasons why "MS" symptoms arrise. Excitotoxins are number one on my list, as I mentioned a bit about before. Heavy metals, scars that are interference fields in the body, parasitic infections (as parasite excrement in the human body produces symptoms just like ms patients have), and most definitely a lousy diet. Another big one is underlying viral infections. The list is not limited to these reasons, these are just the most common. A NOTE FROM SOR : Lymes Disease is also a notorious underlying cause. Few doctors will test for this, and even fewer use the correct testing - resulting in an incorrect negative diagnosis.
What was the hardest part of your recovery?
Hardest part? My husband's unwillingness to support what I was doing, I guess that would be the hardest part. I don't like dragging him into discussions like this but.... I guess the emotional aspect of not getting the support that one would desire when fighting something as serious as this. THAT has been the hardest part from start to finish. (There's another emotional scar needing ERT!)
Have you had success in coaching others to a full MS Reversal?
I am starting my own group! We're going to have club jackets and everything. *laughing* No. To answer your question, not yet. I just got the website up and running a year ago. I just recently reached the search engines. Calls and emails are coming in left and right, and I am working now with a few people. Some aren't really into this. They are doing this just to appease their spouse's plea to get nutritional help. It's too soon for me to tell you of a new success story with MS.
I can tell you, however, I am not the only one of this doctor's patients who has reversed their MS or other neurodegerative diseases and even cancer. I am friends with one of his other patients. I met her through him. We started talking and became really good friends. Never physically met her, but I consider her a great friend. We have coached each other over the past couple of years. She told me recently that her fight with her MS was over! Her last MRI was clean as well!!!! She was diagnosed back in 1991. She was almost in a wheel chair herself. She walked with a cane. She had it bad! She was on one of the ms drugs and quite a few other Rx's to "handle" all the other health problems that she developed due to the ms drugs. She had the fight in her and she won, too!
There are surely those out there who believe you must have never had MS to begin with if you don't have it now. What is your response to that?
I have a long page on my website that deals with those comments directly. Of course it makes me angry. The two comments I hear a lot are, "you got lucky" or "you were just misdiagnosed." "JUST MISDIAGNOSED?!?!" That is a pretty big deal! My answer to both comments? "You think my starting out with the same thing you had was LUCK?", and "Misdiagnosed? Join the club. Every MS patient out there was probably misdiagnosed as well!!!!" But then I will have to follow up with "yes, I was lucky to have gotten misdiagnosed with the same thing as you!" Why? Because it was a blessing in disguise! I thank God every day for being (mis)diagnosed with MS. If I hadn't, who knows where my health would have gone and how bad I would have allowed my daughter's health to get. No, I thank God every day, right when I wake up. I needed this in my life!
In case anybody reading this interview is thinking along the same lines, I'm going to post images of your cat scans here. The progress is remarkable. Way to go! How must time transpired between the 2 images?
(for images, visit www.msreversed.com)
I had three MRI's. There was probably 3 months in-between the first one and the second one and about 5 months in-between number 2 and number 3. June is when I started taking these supplements and really changed my diet. It was about 5 months to reverse this "disease". That is when people start telling me that I "just got lucky or misdiagnosed" because in their mind it's just not possible to reverse something like they've got in 5 months. Well, I disagree. I did it.
What message do you have for others with MS?
Don't wait for someone else to change your health. If you want it bad enough, you can fix yourself because really, there is only one person that takes care of you, and that is YOU. Research! This information is out there! On the web, in books, word of mouth. But you HAVE TO WANT TO CHANGE. And don't just pick which things you're "ok" with changing! It's all or nothing! Either you really want it or you don't. If you're ok with mediocre change, you'll end up with mediocre health.
Julie, Thank you once again for taking the time to share your story with us. I am so impressed by you, and I know many others are to. How can you be contacted for more information?
Oh yes, absolutely. You are so very welcome and I sure hope that this helps your readers out there and especially those in needed of something to help boost their confidence while tackling their own health issues. Also, just so your readers know, a lot of this information is available on my website, as well. Contact me by visiting my website at www.msreversed.com or by emailing me at Julie@msreversed.com. Readers can research this and all other products going through my website or going to my doctor's website: www.healthline.cc. Thank you very much, Erica, and may I grab a recipe or two off of you soon!?
