Okay, let's see......
We lost about 800 square feet moving from the old house to here. And a yard. We have next to no yard! BUT, it's OUR'S!
There are 4 bedrooms upstairs.
When we moved in, we turned the dining room into the front of our house into a bedroom for the full-immersion program. A family came and stayed for two weeks a month after the move, and it was great!
We took the stove and microwave out of the kitchen. We put a white cabinet there that we already had. It's a great size kitchen, but there was no island. We got TWO islands, put them back-to-back, and now it's a GREAT spot for making our food, AND for holding my hands-on classes!
My room has a little cove in it, and I use that for my office space! I got a Mac (OMGOODNESS, what took me SO long?!), and have started work on my new e-book "Autism and Spirituality".
We lost the upstairs bonus room we had in the old house. But luckily, my oldest has a REALLY good sized closet. So his dresser and a couple of bookcases are in his closet. His bed, his computer desk, and the two tables that hold the huge board they game on on top of it are in his actual room.
Lil' guy has a huge room, so that holds all the Dragons, Bionicles, and Imaginext he has and then some.
Baby girl loves her room!
AND, I got a second side-by-side fridge and a second 9 tray dehydrator. And not a second too soon. The fridge got there just a few days before the program started, and everything still barely fit in two. And the D's were going non-stop the whole time (we made a TON of food!).
That's the update for now!
Have a great day!
