Sallow skin....

Here I am again, turning to ya'lls for the answers to the questions I get from friends.

My friend stopped eating meat about a month ago...she feels good, has lost a couple of pounds and now she's saying the skin on her face looks sallow...not the skin on her hands...just the face...

...any suggestions, is it the no meat??? Just why has her face skin changed to sallow.

Thank you, Elaine

I know this is a tired answer but . . . . . detox?

Plus with the changing of the season and possible old tan wearing off on top of it?

Thanks Luckitri, I always pose questions here and get so much help and last night after posting that question 'detox' did come to mind.

She eats healthier then most SAD people but I think giving up meat would be a big deal. I do see that initially she was feeling positive about this change but now I can see where' she's look'n for something to be wrong.

Are there any more thoughts out there to the yellowing/sallow skin?

Thanks, Elaine

My first, gut reaction to~yellowing skin~was "the liver." She might consider drinking some dandelion tea.

Ditto that. I was not going to get into medical but truth be known - all the dialysis patients I have ever known had the sallow skin. Maybe it is time for her to amp up the cleansing with some cleanses? I am waiting to order this book meself -

There is a wealth of information on this site posted by various people also.

I understand about the liver but this sallow skin just started a few weeks after giving up meat. Would that still be the liver? I don't want to alarm her so I need to be careful about how I word it.
