Thank you so much Uncle and Aunty!! Derek LOVES his new bike, he gets up in the morning, is barely out of bed and asks "Derek go ride my bike?" or he just tells me "Mommy Derek will go ride my bike now, ok?" Usually I respond with "here, lets put your clothes on first and have something to eat, then you can go ride your bike!"
Myself, Mimi (Grandma) and all the visiting nurses and caregivers (Great Grandma is nearing 95) are very impressed by Derek's coordination and ability, he climbs on (literally) and takes off even though he is a little too small (has to lean to each side to reach the pedals). At first I was worried that he might ride off the deck but he is staying on and can squeal to a halt with the best of them!
