Today, we are also launching the new Sunny Raw Community Kitchen
‘Recipe Of The Month’ Contest. Every month, members are invited to submit one of their creations in the present forum. (One recipe per thread, please!)
Submissions will be accepted for a period of 2 weeks. A poll will then be set up in order for you all to cast your votes. (Thanks RVM for the suggestion!) Each member can only select one recipe so choose carefully as your vote can not be changed.
Note: Members are welcome to post their impressions/questions about the recipes, as usual.
At the end of each month, the winning recipe will be announced and prominently displayed in ‘The Recipes’ section. The recipe author will receive the rawesome prize for that month (to be specified).
The recipes contained in the Recipe Contest forum will then be moved to their respective sections for future permanent reference, leaving room for the new entries for the following month.
Since May is almost over, our first contest will differ a little. We'll be accepting entries for June's Recipe Contest for the next 2 weeks or so, at the end of which a poll will be open for the following 2 or 3 weeks. (I'll keep you posted on the exact deadlines!)
June’s rawesome prize: Fairygirl/Heathy’s upcoming raw dessert recipe book (priceless in more ways than one! lol)*
To celebrate RFC’s grand opening, each member who contributes a recipe to the Recipe Contest during this week's launching events will be automatically added to the
RFC Launch Draw.
Looking forward to drooling over (and testing!) your entries.
Blessings,
Carmella
* The original prize offered was a one year subscription to
‘Purely Delicious’,
The Raw Table.com. However, it felt like the timing wasn't very suitable as the next issue is due to come out around mid-June. You can now get a chance to win
Purely Delicious by purchasing raffle tickets or participating in one of the Treasure Hunts! (See details in 'Announcements' section.)
PS Note this is a work in progress! I may still have to iron a few kinks to make sure the Recipe Contest runs smoothly... Please check back again later to see whether there has been any changes. Thanks for your patience! ;-)
PPS Remember that you can always use the rating system to let us know how you like the recipes posted in the Sunny Raw Community Kitchen as a whole. However, it isn't refined enough for us to be able to use it for the Recipe Contest.
