How long do crackers keep in the fridge?
I made a batch quite a while ago, more than a month, but since I'm the only one who eats them I still have several of them left and I didn't think of freezing them. I'm worried about mold growth. Any ideas?
Thanks both of you!
I was a bit worried because I made somewhat thick crackers, and they are the ones with zucchini and hemp in them. They were fairly moist to begin with, as I followed the instructions for good dehydrators and mine isn't as good so I have to spread them thinner.
Now that I think of it... It's been at least 2 months since I made them. I think I'll freeze a bunch of them if they seem to be OK.
Mine never get to the frozen like a brick stage even though they are in ziplock in freezer. It's not like keeping ice cream frozen. I can take them out of freezer and eat them immediately too. Just more like a coldER refrigerator.
I had some zuchini crackers for almost two months a while back. They were thin, dry and crispy, and I kept them in the pantry. I actually had forgotten about them and then found three left in my colloidal silver snap lock containers. I saw no mold, smelled no bad smell, so into my tummy then went.
