Another point to keep in mind related to eating raw and health is that the food is only as nutritious as the soil it's grown in. Foods raised in poor soil will not provide the same nutrients as foods from fertile soils. Even the quality of the seed or the mother plant can affect what is eaten. For instance, plants grown from GMO sources will never be 100% identical to a non-GMO conventional counterpart nor the organic version. Even if externally they look alike, genetically, energetically and otherwise, these differences are bound to impact us one way or another, sooner or later.
Foods that are imported are said to be sprayed or somehow exposed to chemicals to kill harmful bacteria before reaching the stores. Do these affect the quality of what is eaten? Who knows...
So while eating raw means avoiding application of high heat to what is consumed, it doesn't automatically protect from other potential threats to good health. Rather the whole spectrum of what makes us who we are: mind body spirit, need to be taken into consideration.
Wishing you vibrant health
