I was eating raw foods during my second pregnancy and felt amazing. My baby was healthy and I felt strong and full of energy. I also did alot of research to make sure I was eating a balanced diet and getting enough protein. My staple was kale salad and avocados. I ate a huge salad every day for lunch with sprouts, nuts... My protein was never less than normal and my iron levels were great and I never felt sluggish. I believe you can raise a healthy baby on a raw food diet but you have to be very conscious of getting the right balance.
Although we are not strictly raw anymore, my child loves kale and avocados and prefers that over pasta any day...
