Talking searching for yummy lime pie recipe?

Aloha Rawbies!
I have just been blessed with some organic white pineapples, some gorgeous organic Strawberry papayas and a VERY LARGE BOX FULL of organic tahitian limes!

I am not so excited about the papayas - cuz we have trees filled with them - but it was sweet to be gifted with them so I'm going to make some fruit leather for dh...

and the pineapples won't last long either --- dh will devour those in no time...

but other than making juice or adding the limes to my water - Im rather at a loss what to do with them! !! I thought a nice fresh key lime pie would be nice... I tried doing a search cuz I thought I saw a recipe floating around but cannot seem to find it.
any ideas rawbies??

or maybe a lime ice cream?? is that possible? I just don't want them to go to waste!! PLUS I LOOOVE Tahitian limes - they're soo yummy!!

any advice would be grrreatly appreciated!

mahalo!!

Hello there StarFire, *big wave*

Oh yum! All this fresh fruit sounds divine! How I'd love to be able to pick my fruits right out of a tree! *sigh*

We always buy cases of limes as we use them, much as we would lemon, in juice, smoothies, soups, etc...

I've also just posted Anna (MaRaw)'s key lime pie here. It's supposed to be delicious.

Enjoy!

Yes, MaRaw's key lime pie is delicious. I used regular limes and it turned out perfect. I'm going to make it again this week for a potluck at a friends, but I did get to share the pie with some other folks who raved about it's taste. And it looks great to boot. I sprinkled dried coconut flakes on the top!!!

YUMMY!
