Natural Cures for HPV
In my recent women's exam, some abnormal cells were found on my cervix, which they believe to be caused by HPV. I am in the process of deciding what to do. Does anyone have an experience healing themselves from HPV?
I learned from the very wonderful nurse at Planned Parenthood that HPV is the cause of cervical cancer. Many women contract HPV in their life time, and many often don't know it. Women can have the virus for years and not have an abnormal exam.
It is passed through men (who aren't affected, because they don't have a cervix), but there is no exam to see if men are carriers. Nor is there treatment for men. The virus can clear up on it's own in both men and women, but can also turn into cervical cancer.
They are recommending I come in for an expensive procedure where they look at the cervix with a microscope and then either cut or burn the abnormal cells to get rid of the virus. Apparently, once you have this done the virus is gone and you are immune to that particular strain.
I have promised myself that I will never get cancer, and also pretty much sworn off doctors. The thought of burning something inside myself when I don't even cook my food seems silly! However, I would like to get rid of the virus quickly if I am risking my health.
I am considering treating myself with oxygen, since I have heard viruses and cancer cannot live in the presence of oxygen.
Does anyone have any advice or experience healing themselves from this?

Would you read Cancer is Not A Disease by Andreas Moritz there find your answer. Joz
you may have read I have a different perception on cancer, one that doesn't view it to be a disease, but rather a final attempt by the body to survive toxic overload and emotional self-attack. Cancers can heal just a quickly as the body can get over a cold. If a number of colds or headaches are suppressed, if recurrent infections subdued, or if the body is prevented from properly removing its waste products, the resulting toxicity buildup can easily suffocate cell groups and turn healthy cells into waste-eating cells. Cell mutation is absolutely normal given the circumstances created by the host. In fact, without using this survival mechanism called cancer, a person would become seriously ill or die much earlier than without the cancer. Modern medicine is based on the false idea that when the body gets sick, it must be due to th body making a mistake of some sort. But the truth of the matter is that the body is not suicical, unless the person is. Low self-worth and the need to "earn" love, respect and appreciation from others to make up for the lack self-love and self-appreciation are basic to many such survival attempts by the body, especially cancer. I have had incurable cancer patients who were given days to live, but never died to this day, living normal lives. There is nothing miraculous about it. Just taking care of the causes (in mind, body and spirit) prevents the effects from occuring. Cancer stops automatically when the reasons for it come to an end. Although cancer cells seem to behave irratically, they are not any less useful or intelligent than normal cells. If science only had throroughly studied the many things the body is doing correctly when we abuse it through our modern way of living and eating, we wouldn't have fallen into the trap of fixing symptoms of disease, but treating the whole person and seeing what he/she is doing to prevent the body from functioning according to its orginal design. and on antiviral herbs such as say sage - lavender - myrrh - lemon balm - olive leaf - goldenseal etc , ive taken to always looking for them in raw form and gnawing on them to either just get the fluids out or eating them in order to get the raw / living nutrients / medicinal properties of them in my blood stream rather then looking to use them in their dry or heated states that youd get in a store . theyd have to be much much more potent this way . where ever i go now outdoors im looking for any type herbal greenery (or vegetable) to chew on as my " preventitive medicine " .

my mom has hpv, too. i recently took her in for a colposcopy for a closer look. if there was something to worry about, she would have gone in for a biopsy & after that, then they would recommend procedures.
after the colposcopy results, they recommend she just get her regular pap & mam. for next year. nothing to worry about.

I had high-risk hpv for two years before it went away. It usually runs its course and disappears within 9 months to 2 years. I did want to correct something, if you have a colposcopy or a cryo (I had both, i'm not sure which you're referring to, i'm guessing colposcopy with the biopsy) it doesn't "cut out" the virus. You can cut out/burn/freeze the abnormal cells, but the HPV that caused the cells is a virus. It's throughout your body, it's not localized. You'll be fine.

A year ago my friend finally found out that she had cervical cancer, and got treated.
She got different info though. For her it was genetic, her mom had it, her grandma etc.. and when she was talking to the doctors they said that most cervical cancer is genetically passed down and it's a small percentage of women who actually get it from being sexually active.
At least thats what she said her doctor said. She had that laser surgery to get rid of it, and honestly it took her weeks to heal. If you dont' have cancer I wouldn't go through that pain. Cervical cancer is not deadly right away from what info she got, so maybe just keep getting tested and if you do get it then figure out what you'd like to do. But having seen someone go through a lot of this don't do anything that you aren't ready for, and don't let someone scare you into getting something done.
Also if I may offer a little advice, our mind is more powerful then we think. My friend for years was absolutly positive she had cancer, so much so that I believe her energy towards it may have even played a role in her getting it. I know that sounds weird, and I hope it doesn't sound mean, but when you put that much thought and passion and fear into something I think we are powerful to create the right conditions to get it.
So anyways, this is what I know about it. If it is fully true or not I do not know, I can only offer seeing my friends experience. I hope in some way this helps, oh and my friend is now cancer free

The majority of HPV is self resolving. Your body has everything it needs to heal itself, and in fact, like joz suggested, it may already be doing that, we just get scared of our bodies because we don't understand them. Trust your body. Do what you can to nourish your mind body and spirit. Not with the focus on getting rid of something, but just because it's the best choice in THIS moment. Honor your body's processes even if you don't understand them. HPV is a common virus. Trust that if you needed to pay attention to something your body would give you clear messages to pay attention to it. Nature does not need interference to operate effectively. Instead of going back to the doctor, I would suggest going out dancing!
relax. you are healthy. your body is taking very good care of you.
