Thumbs up Recipes to try! (for me :D)

I am so happy! Ages ago I got Carmella's recipe book but for some dumb reason could not get Adobe to download (have been swapping between used computers for a while) on the latest computer, so I couldn't even LOOK at the recipe's, then I talked to my sweet sis-in-law Sara, and she said to email it to her and she would print it for me. Not only did she do that, she put all the pages in those plastic covers (perfect for a recipe book!), in a binder for me!!
So happy, now I have Sara's D, went shopping today so have the ing.'s, and now I plan to make Spinach quiche's!!!! Wheee!

Also, I just got Ani's book in the mail
I depended on it so much while away (it was a library book ) that I am not sure I could do with out it! Really enjoyed her "mylks", burger, polenta, and many of her desserts Blackberry (hers was blueberry) soup w/kream, strawberry s w/kream, apple pie, mango cobbler, persimmon pie (first time I tried those, good stuff!), and some great huge name like Fudge, coconut, chocolate torte thingy

All good stuff, I liked the fact that the ingredients for the most part are few, simple, and easy to have/find/get, not a lot of exotic stuff, or dehydrating, or involved processes.
Great for busy Mom (or anyone )

Oh Danny, I'm sorry you had all that trouble to access the ebook. How lovely of Sara to print it all out for you.

So cool you're making the quiches. Woo-Hoo! They are one of my faves (along with the lasagna in there! Divine!) Which reminds me I'm due to make more shells soon.

Ah man, that Ani Phyo's book sounds awesome!

Well, you're all set to have fun in the kitchen for a while now, eh? Keep us posted on your experiments!

I either made them too thin or just dried them a bit too long though, they were tricky to get into the muffin cups...uh oh, baby awake!! bye

Yeah, it's happened to me too. When I dehydrate things a little too long to be manageable (like the calzone crust, for ex.), I spray a little water on, then let it soak in. Can't remember if I've tried it with the quiche crusts, but I bet it would work.
