Carmella, thank you for posting this. I just made the "Nut Nog" from the Christmas Day Menu. It is soooooooooooo good!
The changes I made to the recipe: I used cashews instead of almonds (haven't been buying almonds). I used half of the amount of sweetner called for and used honey instead of agave. It was still plenty sweet enough. And, instead of chilling it (it's cold here in the Northeast U.S. tonight, I served it warm from the Vitamix and sprinkled nutmeg on the top of each serving.
My husband and I in the past were buying Silk Nog. It tasted good, but we were never too happy about consumming soy milk. This is soooo much better!
On a scale of 1 to 10 I give this a 10.
