what's for dinner?

okay, i'm not talking to the american's cause they all posted what they had for dinner today... but for everyone else (or those american's who did not participate in mock-turkey)... what did ya have for dinner?

tonight i had leftover zucchini humus... but it was too garlicy so i added a tomato and some sun dried tomatoes (my new favourite food) into the food processor and added it to the humus...

then i sliced up a bunch of veges (mushroom, avocado, sprouts, orange pepper) and ate them with the humus. i am sooooooooooooo full i couldn't possibly stuff another shroom into my mouth LOL

i am hoping to stuff some more of those little balls i ordered from matt later... cause those are soooooo yummy.

i really do need to get something happening in my dehydrator but to be honest... i'm feeling overwhelmed and intimidated by the process.

Once you get that dehydrator plugged in and heated up you will no longer feel intimadated, you will be free to create anything that your lil heart desires. I eat mainly mono, but I have so much fun creating things for my hippie and our little man!!!

Here is what we had for dinner

Dinner was a lovely spinach-arugula soup (Gawd! How I love arugula!!! ), green salad and Snowdrop's left-over Sesame nuggets with veggies in sweet & sour sauce.

Wow! Snowdrop really outdid herself with this one! It's fantastic!

Oh Aleesha, I'm totally with Melissa. Once you crank that little guy up, you'll have so much fun you won't be able to stay away from it for long. Actually, our freezers are soooooo full! I have to be extremely disciplined so as to go through what's already stored before trying new recipes.

You gotta gotta try Snowdrop's recipe! If you're intimidated by the nuggets, then why not try the veggies in the sauce. No D required (although putting them in there for an hour or so at 110 will give them that 'stir-fried' look. Mmmmmmmm)

Melissa,

How did you like the autumn rolls? They were on my and Fairygirl's 'to make' list but we ran out of time.

Ok, tonite was Snowdrop's killer... hum, wait a minute! Probably not the best term eh? How about Fantasincrediblyyummy veggies in sweet & sour sauce on a bed of Ginger Rice made with squash and cauliflower. Mmmmmmm

Oh, and with my and FG's new Cream of mushroom soup for starter.

Dessert was left-over Choc Orange Cake, Mint and Chocolate tarts and Mint Ice cream. Ah man! I wish the left-overs could last forever!!!
