Natural Health Candy
have been wanting to post this recipe for a while but had no time. This is transitional food but very good for traveling.
Natural Health Candy by Lorene Elf
½ lb dates
1 lb dried figs
2 c. walnuts
½ c. seedless raisins, dried
1 lb dried apricots
1 tsp grated orange rind
Sesame seeds or shredded coconut
Put first 5 ingredients through food processor. Add orange rind and mix well. Press into well-oiled 9 inch square pan. Cut into desired pieces and roll in sesame seeds or coconut. For keeping, squares may be individually wrapped in plastic wrap or clear wrap. Store in refrigerator.
