I have been somewhat of a "cyber coach" over on RFT and would like to carry that over to this forum....so I am just wondering if there is an interest level here to post on a "fitness thread" daily to track your fitness and have a chance to share "war stories" with others tring to maintain and improve their fitness lifestyles while living a raw lifetyle.....If you are "in" to join the "gym" holler "I"....The type of exercise does not matter....run, walk, rebound, yoga.....whatever it is....JUST DO IT!!!!!
Well, you know I am in!
I have wanted to, for years, like since the early 90's, wanted to become certified to teach Jazzercise. For some reason, fear maybe, I have never challenged myself to "go for it" but your threads on rft have inspired me to do so. There is a certification coming up in October and I would need to be ready to be "viewed" by August. I don't necessarily have to be at any specific goal weight by then, but I must be fit aerobically and be able to do my moves by then. Then the workshop is in October.
So, I will post my "getting ready" workouts here.
Things are going much better on the eating end and I think I am FINALLY in my groove.
I will be doing exerstriding, rebounding and weightlifting at least 6 days per week. Please note that I need to completely lay off from running for the time being as my immediate plan is to fast (Master Cleanse) for at least 40 days. I could use some support.

I am here, checking in for the April Fitness Challenge. As you know my schedule has been challenged for a few months now and I am finally seeing the light at the end of the Tunnel. I am increasing my work outs each week and want to be back to Daily Runs by April. So I am IN !

We're here 4 u rawbie!!!!!!!!!! when does your fast begin???? or has it already. I did MC but only for 7 days! I give you a lot of credit.....
I slept in again today in the hopes I could get out and run.....and I will eventually...I was hoping it'd be warmer....only 20? degrees or so......guess I'll dress in LAYERS....AGAIN!!! This weather is so depressing
My husband laughed his head off when he saw the book I checked out of the library: "Senior Fitness" by Ruth Heidrich. We are turning 51 this year. Nothing like being prepared. Anyway, she inspired me to start running again. She is a breast cancer survivor who is still running triathalons at 73 years old. Dr. John McDougall's program healed her and she's a raw foodie now. I'm throwing my visor into The Sunny Gym thread and will begin to run this afternoon after work and get back to the regular 6 miles I used to do. Lately, I've been walking, which is great but I have put on a few pounds. Thanks NFRacer for the extra push.
