Thank you, Cathy. Janie was only 51, but the infection from the bone marrow transplant was too much for her to battle. I'm taking the AmTrack down to NYC this Wed. to attend the funeral in Port Washington on Thurs.
Friday, I'll be going to Bayonne to look at the housing situation my husband has set up, which I dread. Sat. night is the Mariner's Ball in NYC, and then it's back to Penn Station for the return trip home on Sunday. I'm exhausted already!
I'm so tired today. Didn't get too much accomplished either. I have a new tenant moving in on Wed. while I'm on my way to NY, which is a little unnerving for me. Oh well, what will be, will be.
Good night everyone. Thanks for all your well wishes for my cousin, and may the sun shine brightly on you for all eternity.
I'm heading out tomorrow and won't be around a computer to see who else might join us at Grezzo's. I'm looking forward to our meet-up in Aug.
Right now I have to focus on the needs of my family, and the move to parts south of Vermont. It ain't gonna be easy...my heart is torn with moving away from the only place on earth I would rather be. I have made VT my home for 30 years, and I can't imagine what it's going to be like to live somewhere that people are moving away from in droves. NJ is considered the Garden State, although, it is also renowned for it's pharmacuetical production. I don't think I'll be planting a garden there any time too soon!
Maybe, this is all a dream but I know better than that. It's my nightmare and I will make the best of it.
Good night everyone.
Pansy: My son called me from Ohio 5 times yesterday and made me listen to that song loud on his cell phone ! I almost yelled at him!!!! then I listened to it 'normal' and I like that song ! Joz

Dear Misotrue,
There is always a reason for everything that happens even when we don't see/know it! I hope with your move you will find some peace with it and possibly get back to VT some day. Hugs and healing to you and your family!
Peg - Moving from place to place can seem to literally divide you from the foundation you come to depend. Since your home is so intimately tied to the memories that define you, you may feel that you are losing a vital part of yourself when you leave Vermont. As it may take some time before you fashion new memories, you may feel "homeless" for quite some time even after you are settled in NJ ( I know it did me when I moved back to NY). To carry your home w you, you need only become your own foundation. Just stay grounded/centered and you'll see that the pleasures you enjoyed in one place, will still touch your heart in another IF you allow it.
I'm only a hop, skip, and jump away, so if you need any help w the move and/or anything else, don't hesitate to call ~ Cathy
