Just returned from the school................That was so much fun.........and I was surprised that every student (did 1st grade) actually was hoping for more........they all came up and want a recipe as '''THAT'S A CAKE THEY WANT FOR THEIR BIRTHDAY'''' Would you? help my mom make this cake? YUP!!!! YUP! putting my phone number on the recipe so that they can call if they have questions....

One boy....whom I sort of know....I did not expect to like the cake as he is a 'finicky' eater....actually said that was the best cake ever and that hid dad will love it as he LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVES pineapple.

The teacher is going to get a pring form cake pan...this is the cake she's making like ''right now''

One studen't dad came in to bring his son lunch...stayed and it was his birthday today....SO we sang him a Happy Birthday and he was the first one to get a slice.... He took a bite and said: THIS THIS IS THE BEST CAKE HE HAS EVER TASTED ! He wants a recipe please he will make it.....

So now....... To Health! Making a difference one at a time.....

I got 4 calls from parents.....they told me that the kids were so excited about the cake.... they would not stop talking when they got home....

I did go back and gave each student a recipe to take home. and yes, they want to try the cake...

THAT IS SO EXCITING.

One of the little students.....who told me that his dad would like this cake because he loooooooves everything pineapple.... So I took a slice to his dad...dropped it off at his office.

Today got an e-mail he said...that he actually 'liked the cake''' well he heard it's raw.

Yeah!!!!!

Plans have been made........... (while I was 'at it' ) got to March and April halls pencilled in!

Sunday 7th Lecture and Vegan Cooked & Raw Pot Luck

Saturday 13th Private get together Dim Sum Chinese New Year Pot Luck

Sunday 14th Dr. Said Lecture and CHINESE NEW YEAR Raw Pot Luck

Monday 15th Meet-up Grilla Bites.... Everyone gets their lunch and I bring dessert..... this has been so fun.

getting recipes and foods (some unusual things I had to order) and waiting for Carmi/Don so we can have pot lucks private dinners and some group unCooking --- classes....everyone has to bring ingredients and there will be no charge to them.....(well help with prep/clean up)

some had their spouses join us for dinner.....

THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN............. MIGHT ORGANIZE THAT...... I can't wait.....

Today I'm doing family VALENTINES DINNER as everyone is running on a different schedule. Invited a couple to join us.

Saturday we are having a Private Chinese New Year (cooked/vegetarian/raw) Bring Chinese Food and let's EAT


Sunday is Chef Dan from Quintessence on his site; has Brunch Ideas ; Eggs Benedict with Hollandaise Sauce ....(found a recipe for the sauce!) ..... so we might be having that and then do our Chinese New Year Raw Pot Luck.


Monday we have a Meet-Up at Grilla Bites

OMG...................tofu666 that dish was so much fun to make and then then then 'everyone' at the Pot Luck liked it.......

I did not have the Thai pepper so I used a sliver of Habanero............and whoah........... that gave it a 'nice kick' in the soup..... no one complained though...... DELISH ! THANKS FOR SHARING IT WITH US!
