Project R.A.W. - Delightful Chocolate Orange Cake - Take II

As we're just about to hit the kitchen for the second installment of this Project Raw Around the World, I thought it ought to have its own thread. (The other ones were getting a wee bit loooooooooong! See this and this.)

I haven't made this one in a while (been too busy making Heathy's variation of Chocolate Orange Cake ) and am looking forward to it. So are Mosaica (who partook in the first Project R.A.W. and Heathy who has yet to try it.

So tomorrow is the big day, eh? Everyone ready to go? Yesterday we assembled my Chocolate 'N Cream Charlotte so since the FP was already full of chocolate, I decided to go ahead and make the chocolate crust for the Choc Orange Cake.

Velvet, are your gogi berries in yet?

Jozzie, you ready to work on your bird-day cake?

Oh, and remember to sweep the floor (in case Mr. Delight lives up to his reputation ) and to have your camera ready; we wanna see what your rendition of this Delightful Chocolate Orange Cake looks like!!!

Just checked the ingredient list on this baby... I've got everything... I'M IN! I'll make a small one though (about half the recipe) since I am alone to eat it and I wouldn't want to waste any. I'll go soak some nuts right now for tomorrow!

But I'm not polishing the floor! I have a good excuse though, really A small kitten was dumped on our property this Friday and since she's new to the household, and there is a considerable amount of stress integrating a new kitten to a household of two older cats and a rather large dog (for the animals, not us). So, I don't want to terrorize her with the dreaded vaccum! Clean up will have to wait. I'll sweep instead. Less noisy! lol

She is a ravinous thing... Maybe she'll share the cake with me!!! Just joking!

Funny... I have the impression... after showing my husband the picture of the cake... I have this impression I'll regret making only half the recipe... don't know why!

Okay, okay! Silly me... I had (accidentally, I swear!) already soaked the FULL amount of nuts, anyways...

Yay! Shannsu is in!

Oh yah! Go for the whole thing, girl! You won't regret it!

So cute about the latest addition to your furry family. I can totally understand how stressful it must be for the little one. We recently joined household with Mosaica and Pontifex and it's been a long process for our Puss and Kylo wolfie and their cat Kobalt to share the same living space. Actually, Puss continues to terrorize poor Kobie.
