This is our blessing here in Hawaii. We will (someday) be building a healing center here... We named the waterfall ... Wai La'a... Sacred Water!
We are hoping to begin building our home soon, and the healing center soon after - where we can host workshops on the Raw lifestyle and different methods of healing or yoga --- however Spirit leads...
This is the swimming hole - this is the view from our house pad...

This is the swimming hole from the 'back path! You sorta go thru a jungle trail and come out and see this ...

This is the ocean view... it's wonderful on full moon nights watching the moon as she plays with the waves over the ocean... shimmering it's silver light across the water!! (The stream and waterfall are to the right ... the land dips down to a gulch and that's where the fairies hide! ) this will be the view for the healing center....

Life is so full of surprises! We've learned that when you're walking the path, anything can happen! We just let ourselves be guided towards the next step, in surrender to the Great Mystery.
I have taken the liberty of resizing your photos; mainly due to bandwith and for those of us who are still on dial-up. Hope you don't feel offended. My fault! I should have put the 'Photo Posting Guidelines' in this sub-forum too. Will do!
Hard to view them without getting tears in my eyes. I miss Hawaii more then any other place i've never been! Ha! I feel such a strong pull to live there and I know it is just a matter of time! Hopefully after I get a few restaurants up here in Vegas then I can move on to Hawaii! I want to make Hawaii my base home and still travel to open other locations. Are there any raw places in Hawaii? I think i remember hearing about one a while back..
StarFire,

Oh Carmella -- Mahalo!! thank you! I'm so glad you resized them for me! I will try to figure out how to do that. I don't have photoshop - so I will have to just spend some time working on how to resize photos!
I do understand about following Spirit and simply surrendering to the Great Mystery. We know that this land is meant for healing and teaching... and it is meant to be loved and to be a part of somthing wonderful!
we (my husband and I are watching and trusting... it's been an amazing ride!
This property was in escrow when we found it - and it had three back up offers... it was the miracle of prayer and manifestation that we were able to purchase it ... we also believe that - the land choose US... and that's why we were able to step in and buy it. Our prayer and promise to the land when we first found it -- was that we would allow Spirit to lead us and that we would surrender... allowing teachers - CHOSEN BY THE LAND... to come and share their knowledge. When we made that promise ... it was an amazing turn of events that happened allowing us to become the new 'caretakers' of the land.
this is how we refer to ourselves -- as the caretakers of the land... I was so touched when I read the post where you and Don consider yourselves 'caretakers' of this amazing forum...
yep -- this is going to be an interesting ride!!
Aisah... nooo, sorry I don't know pangaia or Manis or Boaz Martin! Perhaps they live in Pahoa or the southern part of the Island?
Ginger... are you a raw foods chef?? Do you know I've been asked 3 or 4 times now to go into bz opening a raw foods restaurant up here where I live and I have no clue how to do that! I'm not exactly 'skilled' in a kitchen! I love to cook and I love to experiment, but as far as opening a raw foods restaurant... not a clue! There is one raw food restaurant on Big Island - and the person that wants to invest in a restaurant and finance me - she went there to check it out and said that the food was horrible. She keeps asking me b/c she's tasted the food I make - and she looves it! but I don't know the first thing about running a restaurant... I can wait tables though!! but cook... dear lord. I can barely survive my escapdes in my kitchen !! Yes... yu should come to Big Island and open a restaurant!!
Carmella... Lightlover... aisah... lavendarJ... Suzi... elementalspirit... Ginger... Damzlfy... thank you so much for your wonderful comments... !!

I'm not like certified or anything. I used to be a cook at a bar here in Vegas then became kitchen manager shortly after. I've mostly worked in food/beverage all my life bussing tables, waitress, bartender etc aside from a zookeeper and some other animal related jobs anyway.
That is so cool, I would definitly come eat at your restaurant!! You should totally go for it!! Wow! That sucks the food is bad at the one there, I will still have to try it out when I visit soon though just to see it anyway hahaha!
Hey Star, if i get my certification (working on it) can I come and help?? I have actually been dabbling with the idea of opening my own restaurant here in Toronto but hey Hawaii sounds so much nicer!
Thank you so much for sharing the story of how this sacred land came into your lives. It gave me the goose bumps and made my heart sing...
I like the way you put it, that the land 'chose' you. We feel there is no such thing as choice, as Krishnamurti points out. In the sense that we are presented with opportunities, avenues and the energy just act. We may think that we're the ones who make the decisions but really, we're not. You may be saying it using slightly differently words but I think we are both speaking of the same thing.
Blessings on your honorable journey, StarFire! We are so grateful to now be walking the path with you, be it virtually.
