A new way to think about raw foods (for me at least)

It has just occurred to me after quite some time that being in the raw food movement is much like discovering that you can build a car that can take you anywhere you desire.
You start out doing raw foods for that desire, that end
and slowly everything changes (at least, it did for me)
I became more and more focused on the car (lifestyle)
and after years of building it from the ground up,
I have found myself giving it tune ups and assessments
I dive into anything I can find about how to make my car run just a little bit better
which is fine, in fact, it's fantastic =)
but....
I've forgotten why I built this car in the first place, and I'm not quite sure where to go
it's kind of funny, because I had this revelation tonight that raw food was only fuel
just a vehicle to get me somewhere I want to be
but now.... I'm not quite sure where that is....
And yes, I've heard this before, and even said it to myself over and over
but it really hit me hard just HOW MUCH food was only a fuel
now, my car isn't finished yet, but I think it's time I planned my destination
what say you, my fellow raw foodies?
what are you all shooting for with your newfound raw potential?

I haven't eaten raw food for ages. The last raw food dish I ate was a salad and that was months ago. For some reason, I cannot see myself surviving on raw food alone. So do you eat only raw food?

for the last month or so I've been 100% raw, and I wouldn't have it any other way
right now, I'm transitioning onto brian clements hippocrates program (look it up, it's cool stuff!) which is the highest protien diet on the planet,
comprised of 100% raw vegan food
I really have been convinced that this is the way humans were designed to eat, so I'm eager to get started
but to answer your question, I've been off and on raw for awhile
I've had trouble doing so because I don't eat sugar (that goes for fruit too) or grains
therefore my choices are limited a bit
but for the last month it's been fantastic,
I've been raw with no sugar or grains at all
and rawfood without sugar is CRAZY AMAZING
I have so much more energy!!!! =D
as for grains, I'm gluten intolerant, so I'm letting my body heal for awhile before I put grains back in it
I know this was a long post, but I thought I would tell you exactly where I'm at =P =)
