Sour cream recipe?

Does anyone have a good recipe for sour cream? In the raw of course. I've tried experimenting with young coconuts and cashews, but it always turns out too sweet. I just don't know how you get the tart creamy taste instead of the sickly sweet, salty taste.

Suggestions and recipes would really be appreciated

Grace.

Did you try this one? from Sarma; posted here;

add more **apple cider vinegar for tartness...

tart sour cream
1 cup coconut meat
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon white miso paste
1 cup filtered water
1/2 cup cashew nuts, soaked for 1 to 2 hours
1 teaspoon sea salt

In a blender, blend the coconut meat with the lemon juice, cider vinegar, miso, and 1/2 cup of the water until smooth. Add the soaked cashews and more water, 1 tablespoon at a time and blend until completely smooth (you may need more then 1 cup of water). Season with salt and blend further. Transfer to a squeeze bottle or covered container and refrigerate until ready to use. Can be kept for up to 2 or 3 days.

U R Welcome.

One time I added 2 probiotic caps (shake the stuff out from the caps) and left it on the counter. It was so so so delicious and not as 'sweet' I wish I had time to do that more often.... you could experiment....
